The 6th Virginia regiment believes in a strict approach to recreating history, not just for the benefit of the general public but for the benefit of it's members as well. We strive to recreate history as it was whenever possible.

We choose to sleep as they slept, with out the comfort of a tent or bed. Eat as they ate, out of our issued rations. We choose to do this in order to better understand our 18th century counterpart. To give ourselves a better appreciation and respect for him. We drill and perform various camp duties while at an event. Cleaning and maintaining muskets and equipment is also an important part of the day.

We are open to new recruits of all ages but realize that this sort of unit isn't for everyone. Please consider these things while considering joining the 6th.
